My legs have always held a lot of water and I’ve had to go to the bathroom every hour or so through the night for at least 20 years. The doctors kept giving me more water pills to get rid of the edema. Just recently I was admitted to the hospital for heart failure and the water retention and they took me off the Amlopipine because IT CAUSES WATER RETENTION IN THE LEGS! I found that Heart Failure is another major side effect of this drug and I was very healthy before. I would like to be added to any lawsuits and for myself, if any Lawyers can help me.

She has since been off the amlodipine and experiencing the same symptoms almost as if she is still taking the amlodipine. I believe the amlodipine has damaged her system and is still causing these horrible symptoms. She feel like any day is her last day, she has no quality of life. What attorney can I talk to make a claim against amlodipine makers and distributors.

And I’m telling everyone that is on this medication to GET THE F*** OFF RIGHT NOW, because the benefits are not worth the risk. My mother was prescribed Amlodipine (10mg) that she took everyday for a year due to a congenital heart murmur. My mom’s blood pressure was extremely high for years and this was one of the first to bring it back to normal. However the symptoms mimic much of what has been shared in the above article: migraines, joint pain, night sweats, excessive sleepiness, dizziness, fainting, dry mouth, dry skin, personality changes (i.e. finding odd things funny), forgetfulness and low-grade depression. As my mom kept taking this medication the side effects worsened. Right before she passed away, me, my mom, my dad, and my brother were all having dinner together, as a family. Three hours later, Mom took a shower and went to sleep, and the next morning she was lying face up in bed, unresponsive. She wasn’t breathing. My dad and I tried all means to revive her (including CPR) but she was dead by the time paramedics arrived. And guess what, an autopsy revealed that a stroke was the official cause of death for my mom. If I had known how serious the side effects of this medication were, I would have advised Mom not to take it. Don’t make the same mistake my mom did and wait for the doctor to tell you if and when to do so. This sh*t is not safe for human consumption. It should be banned altogether. Natural medicine is always the best medicine.

I suffered while taking the medicine after a few months then stopped it and it takes months to feel even a little normal again. This medicine affects the brain in a bad way and should be outlawed. I would love to sue for the distress I experienced from taking this medicine which was a nightmare.

Had a colonoscopy with 2 polyps removed. Four months later I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Does Amlodipine inhibit apoptosis and suppress immune system? Cancer?

All this because of greed. Shoulder, only replacement. It’s all about getting me in for more appointments, blood draws, more scripts with no regard for prescribed drug commitment issues, like the potential for rabdomylosis. The ruptured were worse than childbirth, more like surgery without anesthesia a knife cutting me
for three and a half hours.
